It used to be top notch place in town but now they play all tacky music and its full of horrible little chav scrubbers dancing to 50 cent and beyonce. is there any good boozers in town where you can listen to some decent music?
Check out the 3rd post down entitles John Peel Day it's gunna be fecking magic, sorting my set list as we speak
can you give us a sneek preview just a couple of songs so I know if it will be my kind of thing, already seen the flyer and looks pretty tasty.
Are you doing proper John Peel Indie Wedding Present, Flatmates, Pavement, JAMC, Smiths, PJHarvey, Joy Division, Fall, Shop Assistants, PWEI, Cud, Talulah Gosh, Vaselines, Razorcuts, C86, Sarah records etc or shitty Britpop?
I agree It does get boring, last friday I went into Livingstones and enjoyed it...
Locorum's good, but my mates dont like it because it's expensive..

RE: can you give us a sneek preview Everything from the White Stripes to the Buzzcocks to The Fall maybe a bit of The Smiths and a sprinkling of Jimi Hendrix topped off with a thin layer of Nirvana. PLUS loads more top tunes. Maybe the most perfect music recipe ever made.
RE: I best get saving up then Cuba - Indie Stylus - Rock/Alt Vanquish - Indie All three i've seen quite a few times and are very good, that's why i've booked them. If you went to the Bomfest you'd have seen Cuba.
It's tragic lads with badger/peacock hairdo's wearing pink t-shirts, and the music is fecking terrible like evrywhere else in town on a Saturday.
