Why is it that when you look through your rear view mirror a car looks as tho' it's right up your backside, yet when you look in the side mirror the car is miles away??
"Objects may be closer than they appear" Basically, to give as wide a view as possible the mirror is convex (or is it concave?), which curves, however this also makes the objects look further away.
Women are generally poor at judging distance Its from when we were all living in caves 1000s of years ago Men had to get out there and roam for 100s of miles looking for something to eat and when they found something they would have to chase it for miles and then kill it with spears. So they had to understand distances. On the other hand women used to sit in the cave on their lard arses, in front of the fire, waiting to be fed Nowt much changes does it ???
Poor response Thought one or two of the ladies out there would pick up on this Obviously they agree with what I have said here
aye a bird's arse through a beer glass looks much smaller than it is !!! ... I'm in so much trouble for posting that !!!!
Side mirrors are Convex, the driving mirror is usually flat A convex mirror is like a wide-angle lens on a camera, you get a wider view but thins appear futher away.
