people look at the motm poll and don't vote. Its not hard you only have to click one button. so far today there has been 21 visitors and only 3 votes.
The 'MOTM' vote is only available to registered users because they were voting twice - once under their username and again as a guest.
duh!!!! I forgot to set it up so that guests could vote...... silly me. all the more reason to get registered all you "guests" out there.
RE: duh!!!! Just because I'm a "guest" it doesn't make my opinion less valid. Why should my right to privacy be invaded because some selfish people want to vote twice (duh, it's a MAN of the Match poll!)? I can vote in polls on the official Barnsley FC website without being penalised because their system recognises when an IP address has already been used. Welcome to the 21st Century!
you've got it all wrong pal so get off your high horse. I normally set the motm poll so that "guests" can vote. But this morning I forgot ("duh!") to click the button.... allreight??? I don't give a monkeys red arse whether people twice or once. Its hardly the general election is is?
RE: you've got it all wrong pal A case of crossed wires here, methinks. A couple of weeks ago I tried to vote in the 'MOTM' poll and wasn't able to because I'm a guest. When I asked why I could'nt vote, Cazi replied that only registered users could vote because some people had been abusing the system. It's only a bit of fun at the end of the day, but I was just trying to offer a suggestion as to why people may not have voted. Just for the record, Jacob Burns was my 'MOTM' yesterday and I'll go to the poll now and back that up!
Except that I can't because when I try to vote I receive an message saying that this section of the board is restricted to "user specific accounts.":S
or why you think aussie was incorrectly sent off and kay was. you've got them the wrong way round pal.
