In no particular order.
#1) 3-5-2. We cannot play that in a competitive game. Ever. Not with those players at least. The wide players didn't do enough going forward, and there were massive holes in behind them.
#2) Howard and Leon cannot play together. It doesn't work. Throw Hassell in there as well and we are all over the shop. Togwell came on and looked decent. Hope thats a turning point for him, and Davey gives him a chance.
#3) Hassell in midfield. Just no. Yes he tries, and blocks some of their play. But he sits too deep, and at times doesn't have a clue what to do with the ball. It's not a long term solution. I didn't think we would start the season with him there, and will not be happy if we do.
#4) Letheran. We cannot start the season with him in goal. He made some really good saves second half, but its no good if you have already cost us a couple of goals. I saw more potential in the second half than I have ever seen from him previously, so there maybe a chance, but we don't have the time now to let him make mistakes.
#5) Strikers. Macken was his usually decent self (when he got chance). Hume looked a bit short of fitness or practice. However in the second half there were some good touches and a couple of decent crosses. I am confident he will be good for us. But we need another striker in soon cos the only option to change things is odejayi (no comment!, but at least he provides summat different) and adam who could be half decent, but isn't ready for more than the odd sub appearance when there is no pressure on.
I'm sure there is more. I just hope that Davey learned some of the same things I did.

3-5-2 - what an absolute shower of sh*t that was. If we're going to use it we need to use wing-backs/wingers NOT defenders in the wide roles. I am also hoping that Howard is not going to be an automatic choice, I have seen and heard nothing so far that says he even deserves to start.
if it were the 1st game of the season this weekend davey would probably throw the exact same team out. He is obviously either blind to the fact or downright stubborn to show any sign of weaknesses in his decsions by fetching back any of the exciled players. We are persisting and paying the wages of people that would do a much better job than those played week in week out just becase davey has fallen out with them for one reason or another. Its f*kin criminal tbh that he has been allowed to get away with it. How much money has he blown doing this? If i cost my company an estimated 15-20k per month by not using a service i had already paid for id be out on my ear. As for the signing of Hume. Im baffled as to how he cost 1 million +. He looks VERY ordinary. I know its early days but just dont think he has the ability to be anything special - deffo not a million quids worth. If that is what 1 million buys you in this day and age im worried. I think Davey has blown our transfer budget big style. I honestly think the team last night was 40% weaker than what we finished the season with. We looked inept. Absolutely no idea going forward and shakey at the back. Play like that from the season start and i can safely say we will be planted at the bottom of the table after 5 games.
