What I liked about Muller

Distribution. He went to throw the ball and......actually threw it. Unlike Colgan who looked like he was going to, but inevitably then didn't and hoofed it pointlessly upfield.

Be interesting to see how Muller gets on against Colchester, and I really hope we play 3-5-2 again. None of this "going for a draw" malarky. Let's go and try and hammer them.

    <div align="center">Muller</div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">Reid Nyatanga Souza

    I think it's a good tactic because

We've got 5 defenders on the pitch. If need be we can pull one or both of them back to play a back row of 4 or 5, or switch one of them for Devaney and play 4-4-2 with two wingers. Or if it's going well just leave 3 at the back.

I'd swap Reid for Hassell though.

    Nope

At least he gets a hell of a lot of crosses into the box tho, if he can't defend that well then it's not such a huge problem given we have 4 other defenders playing.

    RE: Nope

Crosses that are *****.. he just blasts the ball into the box he's got no control its either hit it hard or hit it hard he can't loft a ball in or aim for someone.

    Definitely!

I was impressed with that formation. It could work, hope he sticks with it on Saturday. It always gives an option out wide. Kozluz + Werling was always stood free. I'd swop Reid with Hassel when fit too and play Hassel as the sweeper picking up the bits. It would suit Hassel down to the ground as he reads the game perfect.

im quite a big fan of drilling balls, sort of 3 feet in the air, into the box, both as crosses and corners, just as likely a defender will stick it in the net.

I thought we played shocking yesterday with that formation good wingers would rip werling apart the best player on the pitch was defo odejayi, and i also think johnson needs dropping for togwell/mcann

He was poor in first half, looked nervous as f*uck but had a great 2nd half in my opinion, lots of good crosses and a roberto style shot that was heading for top corner. Looked better as a wingback than a regular full back. I think Koz looked out of place though, hardly any crosses came from his wing. Maybe Disco could do the wing back role on that side?

Three center backs looked ok as well, Souza was the pick for me.

    Game of opinions though eh.

Think we'll play 4-5-1 away from home with Odajayi as the main striker

    Muller

    Nytanga Reid Souza

    Togwell
    Werling Hassel [when fit]

    Mcann Howard

    Odejayi Ferneczi

Maybe Kozluk would be better at CB if any of the above dont perform Nytanga reid souze CBs werling hassel wbs togwell dm mcann howard cm

he was really good at the crosses against Morecombe, I suspected the plan for the season would be for him to land them on Kayode's head....

teams stopped plying that formation years ago,in fact if we do start playing it we,ll be the only team in the country using it.if you can,t defend with a bach 4 it,s time to chuck it!
