Invest in Barnsley Football Club, I mean proper money, and

Buy the land off PC & Council
    Buy the Football Club.
Spend a fortune in buying the right sort of players to get promotion
Develop the ground in stages, as success came
Get into and stay in the Premiership and Europe. Remember money buys success

Would this success fill a 40 thousand seater stadium in ‘Barnsley’ if this situation was permanent like the Boltons, Wigans and Fulhams. If so then the return on such an investment would be good.

    Dangerous to dream like that.

Wouldn't complain if it came true.

My general question was with all the very highest success would there be another 35,000 more like us go to Oakwell on match days.

    Would depend on prices.

Lots of people already stay away because of the cost.

    I'd be happy with that.

Although I think we could do better. We've had thirty-five thousand in the ground before now for cup games (pre all-seater obviously). When Rotherham and Donny go back down the toilet you'd pick up fans from them as well.

We could get 30,000 of our own fans into Oakwell, I reckon.

That is IF we were at the top end of the Premiership, and IF we didn't sell our best players.

They'd not be 'real fans,' though. As soon as the wins dried up, they'd be off like a shot. That said, their money is as good as anyone else's.
