    Hammill gone
    Shackell gone
Haynes put in the shop window
For the first time in my life we cant compete with the vast majority of clubs in the Championship and consequently we have to rely on inexperienced lower league players to be brought in
Latest additions to the squad are two bairns

........Are the circumstances surrounding the club in such a sorry state.......???

If they are and things go pear shaped then the love affair the fans have for the directors (especially PC) is going to sour

If Haynes goes.......then Patrick Cryne should let the farmer have his field back....

why's that no more donkey's left to graze on it.

    Let Haynes go ffs

why all of a sudden is he a superstar. Hes hardly done anything and has shown zero interest so far since the league started.

Well..........we all can see now that Mark Robins certainly made the right decision

............bringing kids in and letting our only on the field attacking threat go..............paddle, without, creek,

Remind me again when we weren't a selling club?

    This is nothing new.

Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer that we didn't sell our best players, but it's been the case since I started following the Reds, and it was the case long before that.

The only difference now is that, unlike other clubs, we seem to consistently fail to get good money for any of our players. I suspect Haynes will have a 'clause' too.

From Larry May to Higgy.........we could compete........until now

OK.......there were clubs that were richer, but while in the Championship we could ALWAYS pick up some quality championship level players............UNTIL NOW

The noises that are coming out of the WELL are very worrying

And let's not start to pull Haynes to pieces now that he's going

Haynes was our only threat to a defence……….he frightened defenders to death with his pace

he's very average. nowhere near the player as JCR for example. Hill will have a decent replacement lined up.

he missed a sitter at the end of the Southampton game and I dont recall him frightening any of the Boro defenders to death.

All pace and no skill that guy :)

He reminds me of JCR, neither wanted to be here.
Let him go, he is not all that anyway.

It's called balancing the books........ We now need to operate on an even keel, without PC's significant contributions, Haynes will be on big bucks and will command a decent transfer fee.
Other players signed by Robbins on large salaries ( I'd guess) would be JOB, Jay and Louvre
Unfortunately, our fan base insnt big enough to allow for significant transfer funding.......

We'll never do anything with kids... Now where have I heard that before. I don't have a problem with letting Haynes go if it allows Hill to strengthen the squad.

if u had told me after the 'relegation party' that Haynes was off..

then id have been saddened.. the lad looked a real frightener, a triple-threat.. pace, graft and goals..
however, having watched him in the games at the Well this season, and after a shedload of negative comments from those fans at Reading, i couldnt care less if he went.. in fact id implore Keith to get shut (not Carl).. we could do with 1 or 2 extra bodies with an hunger to prove themselves, and who would wear the shirt with some pride.. after both league games against Boro and Soton the lad Haynes (along with JayMac) got out of dodge ASAP, without so much as a second glance.. i think, and hope theres an agent at work ere.. im quite surprised though that its taken just 8 months or so for the predictions of Bristol and Ipswich fans to come true.. they told me he was lazy, a player that turns up when he feels like it, and a lad who FEELS that he's already MADE it.. sad, because that will be three very strong 2nd tier clubs where he has failed after promising beginnings..

what has he contributed to the team with regards results this season.
zero! but clubs want pay us money to let him go, brilliant, cash in! thanks Danny and good luck to ya!
he will no doubt score a couple, people on here will moan that we didn't get enough for him.
but if we are lucky we might get a gem in who scores a few for us.
change is good, let him go!
