What is it with Barnsley 'fans' on here ?

in administration but saved by a fan /benefactor , promotion to the chapionship after finishing 5th in first division and being outplayed against Swansea in the final.
Fan base of 8000 .
Now in championship but struggling , new players will come in.
WHEN YOU START CHANTING SACK THE BOARD AT THE NEXT HOME GAME DONT BE SUPRISED IF CRYNE WALKS AWAY FROM THE CLUB.
Sorry but our fans are well balanced , chip on each shoulder pitty we cannot create an atmosphere like colchester but we never will because for some unkown reason our 'fans' are better at criticising than supporting.

When you drive the man away who saved us tell me who you want in then ???
ps Davey will become a good manager probably not at Barnsley cos the idiots will sort that out.

72-73 season in Div 4 when we were even shiter (?) than we are now.</p>

Crowds hovering around 2000 mark for most of season IIRC.</p>

was gutted with appointment of davey which i think is a mistake. HOWEVER you have to look at how board have brought us on and rescued us after doyle. we were lucky to get into this division and should do evrything we can to hang on to it

 

hold on mate, all I want is honesty. If they had said at the start of the season that we weren't going to be ambitious, fine but they scapegoated Ritchie or so it seems.</p>

I've always stuck up for the board in the past as I have read the accounts and I realise what Mr Sheppard is trying to do in controlling costs. As for Mr Cryne if it wasn't for his investment we wouldn't have a club.</p>

It's just when Ritchie was sacked we appointed Kidd as an assistant manager, you don't appoint an assistant unless you have appointed a manager.</p>

I wasn't aware that Mr Cryne had come in for any major criticism.

 

Youre talking B*ll*cks mate theres always been more than a fair share of moaners at Oakwell when weve struggled and thats from observation from sides of the ground over the years.Its just that there are different ways of expressing it these days.I realise that this must come as a shock to youre theory that mrx is always right but hey its a learning experience.

If Mr Cryne is funding BFC then it is reasonable to assume that it is his policies that Mr Shepherd is carry through. If they are not his policies he needs to be aware that Shepherd's policies are bound to result in our relegation and alienation our the floating fans. However, I cannot believe that Mr Cyne would invest money in the club and not want a say in the running of the club. In that case it is time to stop hiding behind Shepherd and get some proper football club management in.

 

I dont always think mrx is right I'm fairly new on here and that was my 7th post.
I think your mixing me up with someone else but I stand by what I read and said.
We only seem to get behind the team these days when we're winning which isnt often i admit
and seem to get a kick out of knocking the board Manager and players.
