I go for (ignoring injuries and suspensions etc)

    LW -Mcphail
    CML-Howard
    CMR-Burns
    RW -Devaney

Sorry, shuker fans, would rather see MP on left, and wiv disco's form put him on the right.

Crikey, just realising, what a headache ritchie must have, as I can see everyone here having different opinions!

Your having a laugh..... The way Shuker is playing!!!

Goal scoring wingers are like gold dust, and shuker is on course to easily beat his last seasons scoring.

Ar, screw it, lets get Betsy back.

mcphail is wasted on the left we discovered that last season. and shuker clearly him and devany are scoring for fun.

Only issue for me at the moment

Is whether you bring Mcphail back into the side. I wouldn't at present. And I certainly wouldn't play him on the left ever again. He proved last season that he couldn't do it.

I was never a big fan of Shuker, although I always liked his work rate, but this season he's scoring and creating goals; you can't ask for more. He still has the odd poor game, so you sub him for Mcphail to play in the centre, move Howard wide left and Devaney over to the right.

After the way Wroe played at Bradford I'd always have him as an option on the bench too.

    Well Done Jay!!

New I could trust you to come out with a great response. Everyone else bit, because I deliberately stated it that way just to cause a debate, cos I know we all love shukes.

I honestly don't know the best midfield as we are probably blessed with the best set in the division, and I would certainly put it against half the championship too.

Just wanted everyones feelings on their thoughts as we have so many options...

Plus evertime I place something on here, I don't get many replies, just thought this one could welcome me to the bigtime response league...

So did I, cos I thought Flinders was on for a real winner, and I still believe that. But colgan, wow, certainly shut a few cake holes up, including mine!

think too many of us were guilty of that feeling. Lets not forget though he was poor before, credit to the guy hes come back and proved he is better than he showed before. and is not guranteed first choice

    5 man midfield

would be interesting, with Hayes up front. We'd surely dominate any team with that

    LW -Devaney
    CML-Howard
    CM - McPhail
    CMR-Burns
    RW -Shuker

the annoying thing is that we probably wouldnt though

unless ritchie gives the defence a bollocking once in a while they will continue to take the easy option and just pump long balls up the pitch.

    RE: 5 man midfield

    sounds good...

but I have never been a fan of a lone striker, unless he really, and I mean really gets plenty of support.

    either that or go

3-5-2 with that midfield and strikers, well thats another debate I have seen on here.

not sure if we are good enough for a 3 man defence though

    I read that as

"best midget quartet" - in which case Shuker for certain, but we may have to play Dirk as well!

I need to lie down, I seem to be misreading things alot lately!
