I'm trying to think and have no idea at the minute. I'd like to see us play 3-5-2 but we haven't got a decent left wing-back, well we do but he's on loan at Scunny. Think the diamond is probably about the best for us at the minute as we don't have natural width and that can be provided down at least one side by Wiseman.

Tonight I'd probably try something like this:

    ------------------Butland

    Wiseman - M'Voto - Ramage - Kennedy

    ----------------Etuhu
    --------Cywka--------Mellis
    ----------------McCourt

    --------Scotland------Pedersen

Swap Cranie for MVoto and Tudgay for Scotland and I wouldn't disagree too much

Surely we must have someone, anyone, who can replace the narcoleptic KennedY? And I think age has caught up with Scotland I'm afraid.

Don't reckon Tudgay will be fit enough after starting on Saturday, that's why I chose Scotland.

    Tudgay's not fit but I wouldn't start Scotland either I don't think.

Tonight I'd go for something different

    ....................Butland
    Wiseman Ramage Hassell Nyatanga
    ................Digby Cranie
    ..........Cywka Mellis McCourt
    ..................Pedersen
    -
Dibble, M'Voto, Perkins, Fox, O'Brien, Scotland, Tudgay

Our best side with the players we have on the books is:

    ---------------Butland

    -----Cranie---Hassell---McNulty

    Wiseman------------------------RNL
    -----------Digby Perkins

    ---------------McCourt

    ----------O'Grady Pedersen

Would go with that myself dys except not sure mcnulty should be in there. Kennedy does a decent job as a CB in a 3, or Ramage as I don't think we have seen his best yet.

That is my exact XI were I allowed to pick it. Although I'd play Mellis instead of Paddy sometimes, rotate them, and use t'other after 60 minutes or whatever.

If we're at home though I'd be tempted to stick Mellis in instead of Perkins.

I think that McNulty would offer just as much, if not more, than Kennedy in a 3. Height along with a similar ability to hit a ball long down the left side and not defend very well.

My rubbish stab at a team a la Licky Lemons. Based only on who is available now.

    Butland
    Cranie Hassell Nyatanga
wiseman u21 left back (sorry not that much of a train spotter so don't know name)
    Digby Melllis
    Tompole
    Pedersen

paddy as impact sub or to start instead of Tompole depending on form. Perkins and Kelvin on call to replace Digby Mellis as and when
    Scotland Tudgay as offensive subs
Big Jean to kick people if needed.

    George Smith?

Looks the best of the youngsters coming through. Can't be any worse than Kennedy.

Yes I think that's him. Like you said my nan would be an improvement on Kennedy and she's been dead for 10 years.
