What is the age of consent for dogs?

I mean, how old have they got to be before you’re legally allowed to shag them? It can’t be 16; most of them are dead by then. Got my eye on next door’s red setter, but it’s only a young ‘un. The last thing I want is to be labelled a paedophile.
