The queues to get in were a joke. Still turnstyles closed too. Are the card readers or the card reader operators just too slow? Are the hand held terminals the netto of bar code readers? They are so slow. Pass, push, scan, wait, bleep, pass, gate open.... It should be a split second to process. If this is what its like with 12k fans its a good job we struggle to get 8 most weeks. Even in the prem it was a 2 min job getting in. Think it took about 15 mins to get in today in the ponty and we spotted a shortish queue - the one down the bottom end was twice as long. Good job sun was out and not pissing down. lol
What time did you get there? We went in about 12 and it took no time. If everyone turns up 5 mins before kick off there's always gonna be problems.
I was amazed at how quick I got in. Probably the easiest all season. I went through the turnstiles at the right had side of the ponty as I saw the queues on the left hand side. Got straight in. My mum told me that a couple of the card readers were having issues on that left side. They were asking everyone to take their season ticket out of the packet.
We went in through turnstiles on the left of the Ponty at around 12:00 and despite the queues being pretty long we were in fairly quickly.
The scanning seems to be working quick enough but it's more the lack of turnstiles actually open. Going in the Ponty via the two gates on Grove Street has led to queues completely blocking the road for about 6 home games running. Yesterday we got in quite quickly, but even one extra turnstile being open would have cleared the road at least.
Probably the quickest it's ever been for me yesterday! Took a long time against Preston though (although I think that might have been someone arguing about their age and eligibility for a concession ticket). There was a game earlier in the season though where it took absolutely ages, probably 20 minutes, the game was well under way by the time we got in.
