Ritchies comments this week will do nothing other than drive more fans away! Realistic or not who wants a manager with no ambition! What is the point of supporting a club where there is no ambition to reach the top - where the manager will be happy losing more games than he wins. Supporting a team ( and i have for over 40 years) is more than just taking each game as it comes and going home happy because it was a good game of football - it is not a concert! The individual games just make up a small part of the season and its what happens overall that counts! If there is no possibility of aiming for one of the top places then what is the point? Staying in this league season after season is not an achievement will attract supporters or even maintain what we have. Sport is about winning Mr Ritchie and moving forward not stagnating in a comfort zone!
