Been in a pub earlier won't name it (dodworth road on the left) 2 blokes walked in laughing saying 'oh Barnsley lost again' These are Barnsley blokes no wonder clubs f.ucked
It's amazing that when we win or have been relatively successful, it's all a big "WE" and "US". If we lose or are struggling, it's "THEM", nobody is on the same side because nobody wants to be associated with defeat. Tell you what, if it ever properly kicked off and we all got drafted, there are very few on here I would want on my team watching my back. I've done 32 seasons at Oakwell and if there was ever a time to dig in and stand together, it's now.
they are probably the same 2 blokes that if and when we draw man Utd in the cup they "have been fans for 40 years" and are front of the queue for tickets.... on the same topic i can bet that all those bairning they arent going anymore would be there next week if it Man Utd not Burnley in the cup.
I bet they went to the Liverpool away game when me and loads of other season ticket holders couldnt get a ticket despite finishing work early and queing for hours.
Walking back into town yesterday the only thing most folk seemed to be talking about was Man U's late winner against Newcastle... Let's face it, we're a town full of Man U and Leeds fans who don't give a **** about whether Barnsley stay up or go down.
If you're judging people's moral fibre based on their opinion of a football team then you need to have a rethink mate. My dad served on the Ark Royal. And my brither was in Afghanistan 2 years ago - yet neither of them can be bothered with BFC at the moment either.
Really? Why would we all pay £300+ on a season ticket or £28 on a match ticket to discuss what Man U have done?
I was in the same pub after we'd lost 1-0 to Birmingham during our promotion season and all I got was"tha must be daft watching them, they don't want to go up".
