What is wrong with our Fans...

From where I sit, we won today, three points and in a good league position. Three years ago we didn't hardly have a club.

Just what do people expect or want - the press are taking interest again, Andy Richie was on the Alan Brazil show on Friday.

We are doing unbelievably well considering.

The club can't win, the comments I've read today are worth of Blades fans.

Unbelievable.

 

Ill second that Roundsman, I was at Wallsall on Tuesday and we were atrocious so to beat Judas today was justice i suppose, we are back in playoff contention now and can go 4th if we beat Forest on Friday, £150,000 from Sky is better than £40000 I suppose, Wish people would get behind the team, this is our best chance for years and we have to go up for the money if anything, and to take 6 points off Wednesday as well. No doubt I will be villified by some but thats all part of being a Barnsley fan I suppose

 

well said, last season we had stiff necks looking up at the playoff positions just wishing that we could get envolved,some people are never happy Richie's doing a good job but for some reason every Saturday we have to find a lamb to slaughter on here congratulations Richards this week it's your turn.

Now I'm not one for negativity and I would like to see / hear more positives from the supporters but watching mind numbing ***** like that for 6 years tends to dampen peoples enthusiasm.</p>

How can some people be so negative when we are occupying a playoff place. Some people would winge less if we had lost today.
Teams who are going to get promoted grind out a win when they play poorly thats what weve done on a few occasions (today, Gillingham and Tranmere)

agree with you. You see Gary i'd be quite happy to pay 18 quid to see mebbe 5 mins of footy that results in 2 goals, better then watching 90 mins of brilliant footy with us losing in the 90th min.

We got 3 points today so why are people complaining.

were'nt playing like Brazil and playing exellent football, you see some come on here when we lose and say fooking brilliant game, we didnt win but hey, what a fooking fantastic game well worth the money. YET we play like ***** and win and its fooking whinge whinge whinge.

how about we grind out 3 points in this league to getpromoted and then we can play football like Brazil in the Championship where player sget more space on the ball and the fotballs better. In the eman time this league is about stregth, commitment, work rate and griding down the opposition to get 3 points. Hardly any teams in this league play football. But they know how to get results and thats all that matters.

Just to say though, after witnessing Port Vale away and some home games this season, yes, glad for the win and I'll support 'em through thick and thin but when it's bad it's really bad and like a  fair few on here,  I'll moan and groan, but come next Sat, I'll be there, wherever they are, supporting and singing and moaning and groaning when they miss a sitter, but getting behind 'em.</p>

Having said that,</p>

Today was utter rubbish.</p>

If MK Dons had been better, we would have sunk without trace but they were awful and we dropped our game to their level which to me is not the sign of a winning side.</p>

There is so much talent in our side and yet, I have to wonder, why is it that we continually drop to the level of a  visiting side and allow ourselves to be bullied by them and allow them to dictate the play?</p>

The real significance of today is that we played at a level that many would feel dissapointed with but nevertheless got three points - not too long ago we would have lost such a game.

We know that the team can play better and will do later in the season. It is great that we can pick up full points whilst we are going through a bad spell

 

Perhaps they are Blades fans ....

Quite a subtle trick to infiltrate a message board and undermine morale. Lord Haw-Haw did it and he came from Ackworth!!!! Just a thought, or perhaps I am getting paranoid. Just because someone doesn't have a tag which says DONNYBOY doesn't mean they are a true Reds fan, does it?
