Not played much to be fair to him but first impressions are not that great.

I've only seen him play in a poor performance against Reading

... far too early for me to give any opinion.

    First impressions I mean?

Like the basics, like ball control. One minute top class, the next as bad as KO

I thought he looked good against Reading and against them in the cup

According to Barnsley Player, he looked okay against Leicester too. Had a bad game on saturday, but i put that down to him playing with Anderson. I think Halfredsson looked better when he was alongside Colace as Halfredsson is always looking to move forwrd, and Colace's one touch football suits him better. Anderson wants an age on the ball, and therefore he's forced to go backwards because Iceman has already made his run forward. His passing was a little poor though on saturday, but everyone has a bad game.

I saw him against Reading and he looked better then most on the pitch in a red shirt. But that's the only game I've seen him in.

Only seen him once against reading

Thought he had a good first half. Second half the whole team were terrible.

Personally, as he's a natural left footer, I'd like to see him play on the left. Looks like he can tackle, so he can provide help to our weak left back position and he can also whip in a good cross.

Fair summing up, in my opinion.

Only seen him the once against Reading, looked decent in the first half and actually wanted to play it along the floor and looked for the killer balls through.

Second half he capitulated like the rest of them. Hard to judge at this early stage, i have hopes of him knocking a few goals for us though... :)S)

Halfedsson has been playing a lot of football of late, with playing for his country in both matches.

He seems to have an awkward and unconvincing way of heading a ball.

    Our best midfielder on Saturday

I know that's not saying much, but he did try to close down players, unlike some others, and he put himself about a bit.

RE: Our best midfielder on Saturday

his real position is left wing to be fair, he's never really played centre mid for reggina or iceland very often

RE: Our best midfielder on Saturday

Think he plays on the left regularly for Iceland but played a more a central role for Reggina.

He's said himself he prefers to play in the middle.

Versatile enough in both positions so it wouldn't hurt to try him on the left to see if we can play to his strengths more.

Add that bit of balance to the midfield too.
