Whatever it is it is too much at the minute. Some of them are stealing a living and laughing at us mugs who are paying them.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

It always is. If people think a player is crap, you can guarantee they'll be on £8K to emphasise just how out of whack their wages are in relation to their talent.

    Is this going towards

Stringing up the players for earning too much as a crime against the working classes?

Sometimes it's complete and utter waste of time even starting a thread on here - as this one demonstrates

    Shame

Well done to the players for safeguarding the club's finances during these difficult times

I reckon we have got a few top earners who will be on around 8-10k a week. Then a few more on 5k a week. The rest of the squad will be on more like 1k a week.

Too many top end wage earners for my liking and PC come to that. More youngsters need bringing through to lower the average in an ideal world.

With attendances of 12,000 a week

I think we could accommodate paying someone £10k plus win bonuses etc.

Im expecting more than that though on Saturday, what with all those returning "not going whilst Daveys in charge" loyal true reds fans.

RE: With attendances of 12,000 a week

I bet most of the "not going while Davey's in charge" have actually been going. But I am expecting a bit more on Saturday too. Although with another game between now and then the result could decide whether the difference is significant or not. Some loanees would also help.

It's an affront to the working classes.

Nurses and binmen probably paid less than bourgeoisie footballers ? Down with it all.

There must be thousands of Davey supporters who won't go now he's been sacked though?

    difference being

No one ever claimed they would desert the club if Davey was sacked. Maybe the people who supported the manager are just better fans.
