The most weird crap you have every eaten! Me, it was locusts and a scorpion while in Thailand.. Whats yours!
Not had Zebra or raw goose to my knowledge but eaten things in the far east where I thought it better not to ask I try to follow the following rules 1. must be dead 2. must must have a backbone - not an exoskeleton (shellfish excepted) 3. if not aquatic it should have no less than 2 legs and no more than 4 - not always succeded mind
I've had Ostrich and Gator as well, very nice. dreamy, the scorpion tasted like crunchy chicken and the locust didnt taste of owt. .
Thats just sick??. Raw Goose? Zebra? And you'd turn your nose up at eating Denise Masino ?????? Aye thinking about it i can understand where you come from now .... (chinny) .... Mind you i reckon theres a few like you on this our BBS....
All were very nice but the Goose (in an Italian ski resort) was feckin top notch. Wafer thin and slightly smoked.
Tripe probably is the weirdest thing I have ever had. Not fond missen as its like eating soggy cardboard. Mi granfatha liked it though and was also fond of pigs trotters.
tha aint bin brought up reight and stew made from horse meat, from shop up New Street , proper snap (Y)
My Gran Used to make me eat pigs brains made into a pate, as i child i remember a pigs head on the stove in a huge pan every week for years while she was alive... (puke)
RE: tha aint bin brought up reight My mum liked it - I tried it and don't have any desire to have again. Saw article about horse meat on The F Word last week, interesting, far lower in fat than beef. I don't see the problem if it is properly bred for food.
