Take their kids to Oakwell every week and then when we Draw the Premier League champions, tell them they cant go, but they're gonna use their ticket to take their friend. Dont agree they are too young either if they are old enough to go to Oakwell why not city. MY kid are 8 - 10 and are excited as hell about the game. Why not just take your kids, if you actually have one. My daughter didnt go to MK so we have to wait for the forth day. I could've told her she cant go and got tickets on the Tuesday. But its either we all go or non of us do
Simple answer. They don't take their kids. And now they're whingeing like ****, cos their drinking buddy can't go to his game a year
Really hope you get tickets for yourself and the kids, they are the future fan base and they deserve to experience the excitement that comes with games like this.
If you want to be able to get a second ticket before general sale (providing you are a season ticket holder already of course), so that you can sit with someone who doesn't have a season ticket, join the centenary society or get your mate to jon the 1887 club. That way either you will have the chance to win £1,000 each week, for subs of something like £2 per week (half of which goes to the club, so you are also swelling the club's coffers), or if you choose the latter your mate gets the chance to get cheaper tickets if he goes to any other game at Oakwell (and it only costs £3). You can then downgrade your category until it reaches the centenary/1887 category and get 2 tickets. Bear in mind though that this type of situation arises roughly once every 5 or 6 years, if that!
