This would do for me. Still not convinced about the ability of either left back though, and thats just for starters.

Agree with everything there with the exception of Hayes on the right hand side. I'd still play Devaney and put Hayes on the bench.

That'd work for me as long as the change was made at some point if it was needed but Ritchie seems to be scared to drop Hayes for some reason.

Apparently McIndoe and Devaney are the wingers who provide the balls into the box, Richards is the target man (target men set goals up for other people) and Hayes is the 'creator' (ie setting goals up for others).

The only problem is that we don't play a natural finisher to get on the end of all these chances and thats why nardiello has to be given a chance.

Hassel, Reid, Kay, Austin
Devaney, Togwell, Howard, McIndoe
Nardiello Richards

1. Austin at left back because I can't bring myself to pick Williams or Heckingbottom at moment, both have been terrible recently IMO
2. Nardi in for Hayes. He just isn't trying hard enough and needs to be aware that he has GOT to contribute to games more and GET STUCK IN! Nardi only natural goalscorer at club, has to play

Hayes an option as sub but would like to see him tryed in a 5-man midfield at some point (maybe away from home) as he has got to be taught to compete more. Maybe chucking him into the midfield for a few games could help with that?

I think its time Hayes was considered for the right,he played well there in play off final. Also gives option of pushing him up front and bringing on Devaney in midfield if we need to attack.

RE: hayes

we can't drop the bloke, hes the only one up front who link up our attacking play with the wingers he has more skill than most other players. nads is lazier than hayes and would get nocked off the ball easier than hayes. hayes is our number 1 striker

yeh i went sunderland, bin every game. no pace? richards has no pace. nads int as quick as hayes, nads cant head a ball and at present not clinical as shown at wednesday through 1 on 1 missed n we lost game.
hayes does more for the team than nads would do. but for me nads would come on sooner for devaney and hayes on to wing.

I'd go with that and bring Devaney on for Hayes for the last 20 minutes

RE: hayes

Are you Andy Ritchie in disguise ?????
Nards is by far the better player !!!

Nads is the more skillful, granted, but he's an idle tw*t...

Doesn't track back like the other strikers do nor put himself about as much...

That said, I would like to see him in the starting line-up...

For me Hayes needs to start, and would like to see him on the wing like he was towards back end of last season.

I'd go with

Colgan
Austin
Kay
Hassell
Heckinbottom
Hayes
Howard
Togwell
McIndoe
Nardiello
Richards

Subs:
Letheran
Devaney
Coulson
Healy
Reid

Wright, McParland, Joynes and Tonge out on loan.

Williams, Wroe and Jarman on the bins.
