Minimum 6 points- realistically got to be looking to win both home games. Need to make Oakwell a fortress on 2025 and two limited teams with (I would imagine) 400 fans between them should be ideal opponents. 7 would be great, 9 be fantastic.

Off pitch - striker in, GK in, Cosgrove and Benson off the payroll, Yoganathan L2 loan, Dallas L2 sale, Smith L2 loan.

All that happens got to be happy haven't we?

I'm not majorly fussed about a goalkeeper because I'm not convinced we'd be able to bring in anyone who will drastically improve that area as of yet. Think Killip has done relatively well (Orient aside...) but wouldn't be against getting in another on loan. Or even as a number 2 so Smith can go out on loan and get game time.

Definitely need a striker. I don't think there's any clubs who would actually be interested in signing Cosgrove, unless we can manage to get him out on loan & then sell in Summer if he does ok. We might be able to get rid off Benson a free given he's out of contract and we can just say we don't want a tranfer fee for the sake of 6 months.

Not sure we should loan Yoganathan out though I really would love to see him get game time, with the formation we play it only takes an injury for Yoga to be on bench & then if we pick up another like when Phillips & Connell have been out together we might struggle. Unless we do get more strikers & DKD drops into that Phillips role behind front 2.

Would be very happy though if all you say comes to fruition, mate.

9 points out of 9 and @SuperTyke posting tomorrow at half 1 soon as the turnstiles open that the ESL central gangway catering is now clearly advertising the prices of what they are selling, so no longer law breaking.

Think Doug said idea to loan a No 2 keeper so Smith (long term planned no 1) can get game time in Div 2. Although who would want to come to us as a No 2 keeper is debatable.....

Yeah that's what I'd like to see happen, mate. I suppose the lad coming in would have to have confidence to feel like he can displace Killip, but again, itd be another kid coming in if that's the case

I wonder why Smith is not regarded as being ready yet to be our main keeper, if we're so confident that he will become that. He's 23 now.

Probably too much to hope for, but would love to see where 9 points puts us, especially bearing in mind Wycombe away is effectively a 6 pointer.

Everyone has been far too relaxed on the signing front so far, from this board to the manager… I wonder if that changes come the middle of next week?

Guarantee to scrapping the barrel come deadline day last year & miss out on our 8th choice a bit like the Dwight Gayle situation 1 year ago….

I don't think we really need a keeper do we? In our current financial position, I think we've really got to streamline our signings.

I'd prefer us to just get someone to play up front who knows where the back of the net is - although if that doesn't happen then our goalscoring record is pretty good anyway in comparison to our rivals.

We also need to move some players on and streamline the squad - even if it's just players going out on loan when we receive wages contributions.

Does a brick shi# house centre half spring to mind .
See if we can keep a few clean sheets .
It would help ,and take the pressure off scoring 2 or 3 to win games.

12 points from the next 3 games.
Harry Kane from Bayern on loan until the end of the season (swap deal with Cosgrove going the other way).
A laboratory-spliced clone of Gordon Banks, Lev Yashin and a cat signed as competition for Killip.
The bird poo to be cleaned off my seat.

Anything less and SACK THE BOARD.

Mate, are you seriously suggesting they've just been sitting there picking their noses and supping cocktails, hoping for some signings to fall out of the sky? Because from what I've read and heard from people who actually know how professional football operates, the amount of work that's going on behind the scenes at every club during the January transfer window is absolutely staggering. Just because you haven't heard anything, it doesn't mean nothing is being done.

Definitely need a keeper. Clarke doesn’t trust Jackson Smith. Part of me still thinks we need a centre half. Ridiculous really as we have five really good players in there but we’ve been let down this first half of the season by numerous performances. I wouldn’t mind a different option from midfield. Matty Craig has gone back, Hourihane has retired and Josh Benson isn’t wanted. I would liked to have seen more of an impact from Yoganathan to be honest this season but hasn’t materialised. And we definitely need a striker.
