It's a pity we couldn't have a section where you go along and opt for 'non of the representees'. I dare say there'd be quite a few and it would stop a few hotheads possibly putting their X in the BNP section
Red Rag I'm voting UKIP as I oppose the EU dictatorship. But if I cannot persuade you to give UKIP your vote why not vote for one of the other parties that oppose the EU big brother...even Socialist Labour?
RE: I honestly don't know well I oppose the EU on the basis of the lack of democracy, the Parliament we are voting for has very little power, the expense (the Parliament alone has to move between two cities every month), the corruption which there is far too much to write about and the general lack of respect for the peoples of every country within it. So I will be voting for independence.
Oh....here we go - Look at the scoreboard ! Sorry, didn't mean you Conko.
Just look at this - it's frigging Eurovision by another name!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Parliament_election,_2009

I've been told there are 12 options but no idea who. Haven't had anything much through the door either - only a tory leaflet I think
Here are the candidates for Yorkshire and Humber How many can we vote for...... and who is CPCPA or whatever?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8040408.stm#yorkshumber

I don't understand UKIP and the like Surely they're standing in the wrong election aren't they? They're applying for a job that they don't want. Anybody elected to the European parliament wont have the power to pull us out of europe so what is the point in them trying to get in?
I had you down as a comrade. I sthat wrong? If it's right, vote No2EU, Yes to Democracy or Socialist Labour
Does anybody know of... an updated equivalent of this type of site? They have to be taken with a pinch of salt because the developer could weight the results to the party they choose but generally I found this good back in 2004 or whenever. I wouldn't bother filling this particular one in now because it hasn't been updated. It was funny when I filled it in back then... the first time I selected everything I believe in, to do the right thing as it were... to look after our elderly, improve education and health, say no to war etc... it reckoned I should vote Green. I then doubled back and filled everything out as the evil, selfish bar steward... pay lower taxes, private health, **** the poor and sick, let's bomb the Arabs... and it said I should vote Tory. Ho ho. http://www.partypicker.co.uk/pickeromatic.htm
Well UKiP leader Nigel Farage used to be in the Tory party didn't he? He left cos the Tories were a bit too left wing for him! Staunch Thatcherite is Nigel. Know who you're voting for and if you're happy with it then that's OK.
Can't be doing with them myself, just trying to pick up disillusioned voters by not showing their true colous if you ask me.
