PC says that we can't sack Davey and he won't sack Davey because we have gone down that route too many times before, we are known for it, other managers won't come to us etc. We all KNOW all of that - I really do not want us to have to sack another manager - I wish we could keep one for years. But we can all see that the alternative, if we keep him, is relegation. If we keep him it is because we are saying it does not matter if we go down, we have got the right man - he is a top boss, and he is just struggling with an inability to compete financially in this division. Keep the faith - it will come good and he is good enough to get us back up and make us a force. If we don't think that - then we have to accept that, even if we don't WANT to sack another manager, for the sake of the club, we HAVE to. If we think that relegation is a certainty under Davey, and it wouldn't be a short term blip in a long term plan of success, then we may as well try to see if an alternative would work better. We know that past experience suggests it is not likely, but we have to TRY.
