What Positions should Lee Johnson strengthen in the January Transfer Window

    It is my view that our strengthening should be limited to just 3 or 4 positions in the next window. This assumes that Hammill will sign a contract extension and that Pearson will extend his loan until the end of the season, but that all other loan players will return to their clubs.

    My choice would be goalkeeper, centre back and striker.

    I'd probably say the same. Centre half, a centre mid and a striker permanently. Another winger if we don't get Hamill on a proper contract. Also a left back

    Send Isgrove & Pearson back. Get a Proper CM.
    Send Aidey White back, he's offering nothing more than we already have. Get an attacking wing-back/LB.
    Also a CH, keep Long if we can, be we need strengthening.

    Mine would be goalkeeper, centre midfield and striker.
    That's assuming White, Long and Pearson stay for the rest of the season and Hamill and R Williams occupy the flanks. Big assumption obviously. All other loanees can go back for me.
    I would like an experienced keeper, someone like Liam Kelly in centre midfield, and a striker who can hold the ball up up front - doesn't have to be a scorer, just someone who can bring the midfield into play. Then Winnall or Jackson can play off him. I think we'd finish mid-table with such a team.
