Perhaps in my naivety I assume this is a genuine post as the thread is blocked.Admittedly I only found the site a couple of days ago and i've seen stuff a little bit personal,plenty to agree and disagree with, LOADS to laugh at. But NOTHING I would class as racist. PC folk rule our lives.
Agree, plenty on about about muslims/islam. Islam is a religion not a race, so any comment about them cant be racist.
In fact There was some racist B*ll*cks posted recently aimed at the "Kick Racism out of Football" campaign and also some twaddle about Asians on Dodworth Road, posted with the aim of sparking a reaction. In both cases the reaction was of disgust and the original poster was rounded on by all and sundry. Once spotted by Site Admin, the threads were removed and the original poster banned. As I see it, the site policed itself quite effectively - I mean, what the **** more could they have done? And all this without any intervention from PC busybodies. The email to SA just tells me that some people just have too much time on their hands. Get a proper job.
Just to add, in my life (57 yrs) I have worked with and known people of many ethnic backgrounds and found most to be ok and in fact I would say I was very happy to have known and worked with them, one or two have been a bit dodgy but so has have quite a few of my fellow englishmen. But if I aired my views on the bigots in the muslim community who give a bad name to their fellow muslims then I am sure I would be branded a racist by the people based in Western Street.The trouble with these people is that if they see anthing that doesnt conform to their PC beliefs it is wrong,these people are the best recruiting sergants that the odious BNP have ever had.
