What really pisses me off about andy ritchie

We had a lot of corners yesterday and every single one was the same. They were predictable and by the third or fourth the defence knew exactly how to deal with it. He simply refuses to try more than one tactic and it is boring to watch.</p>

Throw-in are the same, long throw down the line for the strikers to try and get a head on. more often than not it doesnt work, and even when it does we only succeed in winning the ball in he corner with the strikers out of position.</p>

Te same for attacking free kicks, we play a slow cross into the box and just hope that a striker gets an head on it. Just hit the Barsteward thing from 20 yards for a change.</p>

His tactics from set plays are shocking at best. He refuses to change things and doesnt even seem to realise that it doesnt work.</p>



One thing will be the difference between promotion and staying in this league for another year (And beyond) and that is andy ritchies tactical awareness. Unless it greatly improves then we arent going anywhere under him.</p>

 

I think you'll find that Burnsd and Shuker are both shocking at corners, only Mcphail produces a good corner..</p>

where did i say that shuker was good at corners?

I was talking about the tactics from corners not about the delivery. Mcphail could be the best crosser in the world but if he keeps doing the same in swinging corner to the front post it is very quickly going to be found out. As it was last night and is every game we play.</p>

What is wrong with letting mcphail take the corner from the left side and putting over an out swinger which is coming away from the keeper making it harder for him to collect and also coming towards our strikers heads so they can get more power into them. Im not saying everytime but he has to learn to vary it if we are going to have any success.</p>

And ive been sayin the same for months, not just this week.</p>

Corners this season have been shocking, what gets me is why do Burns and Shuker take corners when everyone knows they are sh*te at em?</p>

 

I would prefer to see the likes of austin taking corners

or hassle. if it has to be a right footed corner then it shouldnt be shuker, he didnt beat a man all night last night from corners or open play.</p>

Speaking of shuker. He got criticised by a fan last night, turne dand looked into the stand and then shouted over to devaney to switch wings. </p>
