is that, once again we saw the 'same old', 'same old' - Can't fault their effort, but we have no one who can be offered only one chance and take it, in the way that Coventry did, and we are always succeptible to one mistake at the back. The players can play pretty pretty football, but they are all, with the honourably exception of Hassell, just missing that extra bit that makes them championship players. The really worrying thing though is that this is our best 11 - we have not suffered any injuries yet, and we all saw at the MK Dons defeat that the 2nd 11 contains no-one that will do anything but make the team worse. So if we are struggling now, god help us when injuries bite. We all know that AR has to get players in, but he only has one chance to get it right or we are gone - back to where we were, but with even less chance of making it back. If we can't spend what it takes to stay in this division becuase of the need to wipe out the debt then perhaps the saying that 'we went up too early' is actually true.
Went up too early Dont quite get that one really.</p> "do you want this big sack of cash now sir?"</p> "No. keep it for a year, I cant afford it at the moment"</p>
Gone up, so should fight to stay up! If we go down I can't see us bouncing straight back up, it doesn't work like that. It would be a crying shame to be relegated because we don't strengthen the squad and make the most of our chance.
