What res do you recommend for scanning photo's

    2400 dpi is taking an age!

    I've got 30 to do!

    Will take me all evening/night to get done

    It defaults to 300 dpi, will they re print decently?

    300dpi is what most magazines are printed in.

    Allegedly.

    I do mine at 360 which is slightly more than a picture you would get back from boots etc. I have had A3 prints turn out fine after scanning at 360. plenty of detail to alter in Photoshop etc.

    Some say that the human eye can't tell the different between 224dpi an 300dpi.

    Then agean, it's probably some ballax I've med up...

    300 is alreet for owt smallish. Mi printers sh*te anyroad.
