Just 14,000 at the Birmingham v Wolves game. Local derby, premier league opposition etc and the fans give it the cold shoulder. I think the same will happen at Oakwell 7,628 is my guess
Re: 7,380 Yep Home advantage negated most people picked Leeds game to go to A reduced admission price today even a tenner would have been appropriate.
Re: 7,380 Yep Home advantage negated most people picked Leeds game to go to We aren't allowed to charge a tenner which is a shame. For 16 quid you can sit in a nice warm cinema for a couple of hours watching a movie you know you will enjoy, with a drink and some popcorn. Or you can sit at Oakwell in the cold without refreshment not knowing what to expect. Surprised that Swansea brought 1,318.
Only Crawley, Dagenham, Fleetwood & Macclesfield had less Whatever happened to the magic of the FA Cup? Even when we were **** in the 4th Division we always got a decent crowd if we played anyone from the top flight in the FA Cup.
Re: Only Crawley, Dagenham, Fleetwood & Macclesfield had less If the game had been against Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, City, Spurs then there would have been a good crowd, but we saw Swansea at Oakwell last season.
Re: 7,380 Yep Home advantage negated most people picked Leeds game to go to There was nowt like 1318 of them. That must be tickets sold surely? Apparently they have a points system for the PL games and our game was a cheap point, a lot won't have come.
Barnsley vs Stoke City both Championship 1989 3rd round replay was crowd 21000? Stoke were in old 1st division I feel local economy is main factor responsible for poor crowd.
