Just heard on Sky Sports News

Following the 3rd choice keeper being injured (who plays in the Championship) the replacement is Carson who played for the Wendies last season and his backup is Watford's keeper.

Bloody coming to something when we can't cover the squad with Premiership keepers.

Bearing in mind we are selecting people from the Championship

    I'd say a major one.

Also, David James has had more lives than a cat.

Scott Flinders or maybe Ross Turnbull ought to get a shout imo, would be a great experience for the lads.

    ridiculous

plenty of more experienced keepers than ben foster. what's wrong with mike politt?

had a very good season in the premiership last year and would be able to keep his head better than a youngster like foster.

but lets not forget, he did play for rotherham and his dad doesn't know the FA so mike politt wouldn't be an agreeable choice. (wnkr)

When was the last time third choice actually played?

I can't see the point in giving a spot to Pollitt. He's probably too old to play in the next world cup - so the excercise would be useless.

Red Fern is correct, this is an opportunity to give one of the younger keepers the experience of going to (but not playing in) a world cup.

BTW, which side of the bed did you get out of?

    Have a good day,
    Stephen
