England U21, scored regularly in the Prem?
He'd cost us millions, plus a fair few grand a week more than we can afford!

    Aaron Maclean.

    Craig Mackail-Smith.

    Danny Graham.

    Beckford.

    Rickie Lambert.

    Liam Dickinson.

    Jamie Ward.

All worth a punt in my opinion. Not going to get this 'proven' Championship goalscorer that people are talking about cos every other team is after the same thing.

One that would score 20+ a season

Carlos Vela from Arsenal on loan. Unlikely but he would be superb. He has been out on loan for last few seasons and is not going to get much of a game at Arsenal. Eduardo is back soon too so he could be further down the order for this season. Worth asking?

I work with the wife of Norwich's southern scout ...

... who has just taken Lita on loan from Reading - enjoying himself there too much I suspect!!

You are living in cloud cuckoo land im afraid.

Only reason he has been on loan is a work permit issue. I think it was to do with him being unable to get a work permit to play in Europe untill he got some full international caps under his belt which he has now started to do.

Reckon that next season he will be a squad rotation player for them.

If we did get him then he would tear defences apart in the championship!!

    Pick one of these out

All would have to be loanees:

    1. Promising youongsters - Welbeck; Slusarski; Vela
    2. Youngsters with a little experience and good record - Fraizer Campbell; Evans; Gallagher
    3. Experienced and proven goalscorers - Henri Camara; Mo Kamara; Marlon Harewood; Helguson; Nugent; Prica

Ok! Say none of these are realistic, but someone said Lita was not a realistic tout and he signed for Norwich. Some of these are not getting first team action and could be loaned out. Some are more likely than others. Would have liked Stokes (still would) on loan. Craig Beattie has done well at Palace on loan.

I would be very guarded about Ricky Lambert - all his experience is at League One/Two level - good player, but one to get Leeds promoted, rather than saving us from relegation, I think.
