Cos I've watched all season and haven't got a clue. Sometimes we try to punt it up field, sometimes we pass it out. One games it's 4-4-2, then 4-5-1 then a diamond and everything inbetween including Donny away where I still haven't a clue what we played but O'Grady ended up covering Kennedy at left back for most of the game. I honestly can't tell if we try to attack teams or defend and counter, or play possession or anything really. I think this is one of the issues, we have no style and consistency and it shows. The players clearly have no idea what they're supposed to be doing either and there's no wonder. That's the first thing that needs looking at next season, decide on a certain way we play and ingrain it throughout the club, just like Swansea and Stoke have done.

I agree. No discernible shape or method. On Saturday they looked like a bunch of individuals that had met for the first time that morning.

I totally agree, I have been posting this the last week. We are totally all to **** with no direct football. I stress the word football. The players are playing adhoc and take it as it comes. Danny boy is slow to alter things round and just goes with the flow.
At the beginning of the season we were all optimistic. Our team had survived with hard work, and team spirit. We needed a couple of good signings to add to existing squad. Flitcroft cocked up and spent all his money like a kid in a sweet shop. This blew the team apart. Wilson comes in and spends the rest on more sweets in the same manner. Result is a side which is far worse than what we set off with, only difference is that at present we have No spirit or confidence We have no plan on or off the field. If we are relegated I am not sure Wilson 2014 is the man to take us forward and I do not think his present policy will keep us up.

I disagree on the Wilson aspect in that he inherited a bunch of crap that he had to try to do something about. In January he got rid of as much of this crap as he could, which I think we all agreed was the right thing to do. However, we've got to remember that the players that he replaced them with were the only ones available. Danny didn't have a choice of 100's to pick from, he just had to get what he could get in. I totally agree that he's not signed well, but most of them were punts on misfits and players that no one else wanted (even Doncaster didn't want Woods). It's pretty much impossible for a club like Barnsley to sign decent players in January due to inflated prices and teams not wanting to sell players so I can't hold him responsible. On his tactics, I agree again that they've not worked at all. But once again, he's trying to fit square pegs in round holes and make something work for us. I know we weren't great on Saturday but we'd have won that game if we'd have scored an open net and Pedersen had found the target second half. Whatever formation you play, you're going to find it impossible to cover for a midfield with Woods and Dawson in it, or a back 4 including M'Voto, Kennedy and Hunt.

I think Dawson wanted Perkins to stay cos Conan is picking on him narr instead of Perky.

Is it table football cos there does seems to be restricted movement and the strikers look to be wearing square booits although it cant be cos we keep our shape too well.
