is to rush the order for the scoreboard through and get it playing highlights of wilsons last reign over us. Get onto some former players such as eaden, watson and co and get them into schools to tell their stories to the kids and let them see how special that period was for us, how good we were and how instrumental wilson was in that. They'll be begging their dads to take them to Oakwell
The Scoreboards not the problem Supertyke. They could order that to come tomorrow it's the other stuff thats the problem like the frame.
I know that but I didn't think anyone would be so anal as to complain that I didn't specify exactly which components I want them to rush the order through for
Is love, sweet love? You and you're blooming match day experience. I'll tell you what would make my match day experience a bit more pleasurable? Some clean blummin sheets and goals in the the right end.... And maybe cushions in the West Upper for my ageing, but not yet wholly undesirable arse. You Reds.
This one wasn't a 'match day experience' one. I meant that they should rush it to be able to show the wilson era to the kids of today who don't remember. get the players into schools and video on the board to show them what they missed and tell them it can happen again Of course matchday experience is always good too
i actually think that could be quite counter productive ST. we need to look forwards, not back. imagine getting spanked at home, then looking up and seeing re-runs of yesteryear. a constant reminder of how $hit they are, and how good we once were. i imagine it would also put undue pressure on wilson. not for me.
Whoooaahh. No way. If the kids want to know about that let them find out for themselves. Of course there are one or two who will refuse to believe a ball was ever kicked at Oakwell before they jumped on the cup bandwagon in 2008!!. Personally, I think it's great to see Danny back at Oakwell. But that's where the nostalgia ends. 96-97 is still impossible to fathom and it's very unlikely to ever happen again in our lifetime.
