Seems a bit melodramatic from the posts I've read, can anyone link me up to the threads that made him throw the towel in.
He needs a towel to wipe his forehead down with all the sweat on it after reading some of these threads
He hasn't thrown it in mate, he's still reading, modding, posting links, liking my posts, and stuff like that, he's just having a break from posting every day. Contrary to BBS myth it wasn't anything to do with the Buttercup thread. How do I know all this I hear you ask. Well the great man told me himself.
I think yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back, I know for a fact Whitey as been feeling fed up with the Bbs for a while, I think under normal circumstances the remarks yesterday would have been like water off a ducks back, he's a cracking lad and its pretty obvious and understandable that he would take any abuse of jake to heart, it's his mrs's son for gods sake. what I will say it will be the bbs loss if he stops posting, on a personal note I do think we are losing all the best posters, it use to be a brilliant forum for info and wit, there were some cracking lads n lasses on here but I think like Andy they've had enough of the negativity, I hope it manages to carry on because I've met some fantastic folk through this forum but I fear for it's future.
