    For once i agree with DB3K.

    Although they should suffer like the victims.

    My favorite is to hang someone but keep cut the cnuts down before they actullly die then string the lovely person back up & so forth

    Instead of having a go at someone for simply not agreeing with them, why not say what you don't agree with? Unless of course you think murdering scum of young children still should have a right to live......

    But what if the murderer was mentally ill? Does that person deserve to be hung, even if they weren't in control of their actions because they were ill? I fully agree to bring back hanging for cold calculated intended murder tho'.

    How is that justice? That's sick.

    All you've got then is the first deplorable disgusting crime, followed by another one.

    Even if you believe in the death penalty (which I don't btw) - you ought to at least believe in a clinical and humane process. FFS.

    The death penalty has been abolished because nobody should have the right to take the life of another - it's what made the offender such a sick Barsteward in the first place. In cases such as this it is proportionate to put the offender into an institution (be that a prison or a clinical environment of whatever) and deny them their liberty and let their own sick memories punish them for the remainder of their days.

    Yes it's a huge deterrent.

    It also saves a lot of money by not keeping people in prison, and the punishment should always fit the crime.
