As ever the day before our matches, I like to peruse/browse the oppositions forums, and came across this one:
    http://www.northstandchat.com/forumdisplay.php?20-The-Big-Board
It does amaze me every week, when reading such forums to see the absolutely huge levels of activity of every club in comparison to our own.
I dont have any answers or solutions though. I do my bit, but it seems we are badly lacking in numbers. Bit like Oakwell in that respect.
Decent topics on this Brighton board though. Think its on the 3rd page (yes, the first 3 or 4 pages are all TODAYS threads.. we do well to manage 1 page a day) and theres a thread asking 'What are your concerns?' regarding their poor form. And there is a lot of interesting views that are pretty relevant to us and our tactics too. Makes for a good read anyway, as does the majority if Im honest. I hate to say it, because this is our board, but jeez, I wish we had a more interesting and active forum...

Is it irony that this thread has had no replies?

Proper lol.. I like that mate.
But, it HAS had now! ;)
Some of their topics are so simple yet quality, and good for a debate. Yet, as this has proven, if I posted a thread saying 'Whats your favourite scary movie?' I would be lucky to get 5 replies, nemind 4 or 5 pages full...

The irony is that people blame the format of this site and yet that Brighton site is EXACTLY the same as this one!

Part of this board's problem is that it would depend on who posted the question. If it was one of the "inner circle" then it would get a page full of replies. If it was a more occasional poster then it would normally be ignored altogether.

I've decided what the difference is between this and the old board.........

.............the old board looked better and so people that posted on it were more creative

From this you got HUMOUR................there's a definite lack of humour on this particular message board

Since we changed to this type of format the humour levels have dropped like a stone

Yes............you are definitly reading them wrong

..........were does it say in my previous post that 'MY' posts include humour?
You have obviously read my previous post wrong
Therefore we can only assume that you read all other posts wrongly
