Is that if we play like a team next year with real organisation and a proper plan, we can thrive next year playing with the big boys.

So, keep doing what we've been doing? Genius.

Agree. people seem to have forgotten it is team game. OK in some games a, Bale Ronaldo or Vardy can do something gamechanging, but I would take a well organised, motivated ' team' like Wales, Iceland (to a degree) and, dare I say it, a little old Barnsley against a team of talented but disorganised individuals.

What it does show though, is that a good manager who is tactically aware, knows his players and can develop team spirit and motivate them is the key. Look at barnsley premiership promotion team. No 'outstanding' International 'superstars' but a highly motivated, organised and fairly talented squad who gave their all. The current manager has done everything right for me and instilled that same team spirit and organisation.

I think with a nucleus of the same team playing under this manager we will be OK. Then again I know 'fu*k-all' about football!

I hope we can pick up where we left off. Flicker famously didn't though. Let's hope that Hecky keeps things the same and doesn't start thinking he's Mourinho.

Agreed. I think Hecky has more about him though and they're sticking to the plan this season which is the right thing to do, there was no plan under Flicker.
