What time did club buses get to Crewe?

    Got on one of the club buses for Port Vale, despite it being against my wishes, and with Crewe not much further, was wondering what time they set off and what time they arrived?

    Set off at 12:00 i recall and got to the ground at 14:55 due to terrible traffic

    I went in car and it took me 3 hours

    Club buses never seem to get to any away ground before 2 pm
    . Which is ok if you don't want to go for a few beers, we try and go on train and make a day of it

    It's ages since I last went to a game with the club coaches (either Norwich or Swansea away about 4 or 5 years ago), you usually get there between quarter to 2 and 2 o clock, obviously the further they're travelling the more time they allow themselves for traffic. I'd say you'll get to Port Vale just over an hour before kick off.

    Set off at 11.30am, got there at about 2.20pm but that was only because of the horrendous traffic. Normally they aim to get you there at around 1.30pm for a 3pm kick off. They get you there really early for the Tuesday night games - arrived 3 hours before kick off at Bournemouth and Reading last season
