Had Radio been invented then - sobering though when I was born there was only one BBC television channel BBC 2 didnt exist
Radio??? Don't talk wet, Dave. That wouldn't be invented for years! Dad had to cook the celebratory meal when I was born. Apparently, it was Mammoth steaks for the main course, with sticky sabre toothed tiger pudding for the sweet.
Really quite interesting that - Especially as " Tabitha" was on, "A comedy series about the grown-up daughter of the Bewitched Samantha." I didn't know they'd ever made a spin off of Bewitched.
Richard Attenbrough on a wild life programme,Champion The Wonder Horse and The Jack Benny Show featuring Bing Crosby.
Arthur Daley reading the story on Jackanory, Brian Matthew on Radio 2 (as he still is), Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in and the rest appears to be a load of old rubbish. But if they had Radio 1 on in the operating theatre when they cut me out I would have been born to the sound of Tony Blackburn!
