Something like that but I think he also said we'd be bottom of the league, playing **** and Hill would be on his way out.
and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out and with the stae of our injuries we are gonna be stretched... hopefully we will win..but its a bit of an 'ask' from the fit players and kids we have available...maybe the phrase "look before you leap" may well be something you should examine next time you decide to say something as "dickish" as you just have.
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out although he is clearly a attention seeking dickweed,to be fair i think he might have said 9 pts by oct 1st which if we lose on saturday he will be right, although am not sure were his 9 pts came from, he prob didnt forecast us bein unbeaten away but he also probably had us winning at home, he did also as others have pointed out suggest we would be bottom 3 playin poorly and looking for a new manager. So to summarise, come fulltime saturday, wether we have 9, 10 or 12 pts, orsenkaht is a tosspot
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out Points wise he wont be too far away from getting it right although he wasn't exactly going out on a limb by predicting a points total. It was the other aspects of the prediction that were interesting but are very wrong. Playing sh-it: wrong, Hill on way out: wrong, rooted to the bottom of the table: wrong.
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out Didn't say we'd play **** or that Hill would be out. I did say that 8 points by 1st October would be relegation form. Our current points ratio would yield 46 across the season. That would have brought safety last year, but will there be three relegated sides all on 42 points this year? I doubt it. Will we maintain our current away form for the rest of the season? I doubt it. Two converted penalties by Reading and we'd already be in the drop zone! We ain't scoring goals, and now we're going to be missing the excellent Perkins for a few weeks. So where will we be by the turn of the year? OK, on 9 points, I was clearly WRONG! And on Saturday there's the opportunity for me to be more wrong! But we're two points off the drop zone, and things have been going pretty well so far - at least after the debacle of the first three home games. You can now argue that with a good/more fortunate spell we'll be comfortably mid-table. Or - maybe more realistically - you can say that when we have a less fortunate spell, we're going to be right in there with the Pikeys! Even if we maintain present form and get 46 points, and thereby achieve safety, that will, after all, be 10 points less than last season! Hill reckons he is building for the future, but how long will he get before his face doesn't fit? Then we will have to start building all over again!
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out Oh, and someone tell 1kp that we come on here to banter and debate - not hurl abuse! I can't be arsed!
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out If we had put all our chances away and if we had had a bit of luck with decisions from the ref we would be in the top 6. Ifs, buts, maybes.
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out That's the fascination of it all, Ponty! I'd have to say that having attended the Watford game, the football was much improved. But the number of draws must be a worry for Captain VonTrapp, as well as the growing injuries?
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out Be honest though Mr Kaht - after our first 3 games it was looking like your initial predictions might have some validity but since then we have upped our game and the players have really been perfoming - but for a combination of bad luck, bad finishing on our part and some good finishing by our opponents we would be sitting comfortably in mid table. the important point is we are generally on an upward trend. you must admit that we are doing better than you feared - marginally in terms of points, significantly in terms of performances. the other important point is how can we possibly have so many injuries - 2 players injured in warmups before games so far this season - it makes me wonder if there is a flaw somewhere in the training regime.
Re: and if we lose on satdi, he is 1 point out Sorry if I got it wrong Mr Kaht, l thought you had said we'd be bottom and Hill would be on his way out. We'll be ok this season, trust me.
