Looked about 2,000. There was about 50 from Hull ... oh and about 100 coppers for no apparent reason!

 

We'd got a copper each.

Plenty burglaries between 12.00 and 2.00pm this Setdi, all rozzers pitchside at Oakwell.

 

Oh yes, there will be loads of them on Saturday, horses, dog handlers, riot helmets to the fore, it's a joke, and I'd love to know what the cost is for them turning out in such force.

I've said it before but if they are worried to that extent, and think an early kick off is required, why not ask for the match to be cancelled? it's only a friendly after all, but then they wouldn't get all that overtime would they??

 

If SY police can't keep Leeds fans out of the Town Centre for a friendly and let us kick off at 3.00pm then it's time to pack in.

Just have to wait until 6th August for pre match sesh.

 

Dirk, you're being silly again

The police are just doing their bit to help the leeds fans and barnsley public get to know each other better. That is clearly why they have brought the match forward so the leeds fans will be in the town at the same time as the saturday morning shoppers.

either that or theyre as thick as pig **** and need a line of coppers in stab vests guarding a CLOSED west stand from being invaded by the ponty end.
