    Trip to the millenium beating swansea in division 1 play off, wembley in a FA cup semi final, after beating liverpool and chelsea on the way, both in champions league semi final same season. Paying over a million pound for a player. beating wednesday at home for how long.in the second tier of english football and we moan, want our manager sacked. Wonder what you would moan about if we had not achieved what we have in last 3 seasons.

    Not just last 3 years either. Last 12 years. Promotion to PL, Relegation, Championship play off final, relegation, administration, various owners stumbling along, finally stability under PC, L1 play off winners & promotion, FA Cup semi, relegation battles. Not all good but its never dull being a Barnsley fan these days.

    Good post! here's to realism......... I for one am another happy red!

    I'm a little bored of the SD out mob that appear after every loss............ claim SD's living of the glory of the FA cup....................... Claim SD's never made a decent signing, oh but then forget that theirs Muller, Souza, Foster, Anderson, Colace, JCR, Foster, Steele, Kozluk, Nyatanga, Hume, Stan & Macken. Many of the best players I seen in my 20years as a fan down at Oakwell............................. and apparently we don't play decent football, I for one am being entertained. I just hope we can repeat last seasons 4-1 win over Ipswich at home ("it was a boring match, boo Davey out").....

    These are probably the same whinging fans who criticise players before they even kick a ball, or in Michael Chopra's case after he scored a goal........... Eh, never understood that one!! get a grip lads and get behind SD and the boys. Its boring us all, and stop being so negative its bringing us all down.....
