Just to summarise what a lot of people seem to want of late:- Club owned by fans with John Dennis in charge. Managed by Danny Wilson. Captained by Bobby Hassel Tickets costing no more that 20 quid A better match day experience with the TVs switched on and a big modern scoreboard No loanees, but a team of experience and youth after resigning Rose, Scotland, Ibere, Reuben, Lalkovic, et al Everton to pay an extra 2m for John Stones and a formally declared sell on fee of 50% All for free I'm sure there are other equally appropriate and valid alternative models.
What's the obsession with Wilson? The guys a spent force in the game. 2nd time round was disastrous. Leave him where he deserves to be as a legend for the Promotion he achieved. Many years ago History It's the future that matters and like it or not he will play no part in that!
Over a thousand games in management and two achievements our promotion in 1997 and he go hartlepool promoted from the fourth tier after relegating them the season before. He has had some massive budgets at wendsday and United aswell. No thanks club legend and always will be but not again.
T I agree. I didn't say it was my preference, just taken from a consensus of posts over the past few weeks. Back to the Future!
Sounds good to me I get that you are trying to sound ridiculous but who wouldn't want points 4 and 5? They seem like realistic and sensible suggestions. Also, a team of a blend of experience and youth doesn't sound that daft to me and we will hopefully still benefit from Stones' sell on clause. On to the less realistic... I'd love Danny back but I know it probably wouldn't happen
Sound ridiculous! Apart from the Stones thing and the modern scoreboard we have had most of these already
