What were the roads like over woodhead

    Snow and Fog were certainly bad in places but made it through no problem. Was down to 30 - 40 mph at points though..

    got back to penistone on bus car covered in snow before setting out for town and pilley.light covering in penistone.top half of wood head worst light covering and steady drop down to flouch as people were taking it steady past coach and horses

    I went over saddleworth about 8.45 and it was horrific I was down to 20 mph all the way and could only see about ten foot in front of me, very scary to say the least

    Pretty damn bad up there. Not been gritted, bad light and coaches rightly going very slow. Surprised to see how much of a covering there was.
