we stop up?.Will you still want SD out?.Will you consider this to have been a good season.?Will you acknowledge improvement considering losing two of the best players in this division?
Can see where you're coming from and I think there has been a small improvement. On the other hand with the money Davey has spent I think he should have bought a squad and not just a team. On top of this his blind faith in his favourites is as bad as any manager i've ever known.
no, unless there is a very good replacement in the wings
no, two good cup matches do not mask a decline in home form and shocking away form
no, as although the loss of Da Silva is a factor we have a more than adequate cover for Muller in Steele. Also the amount of money pissed away on poor stikers of Davey's choosing is damning in itself.

If we stay up we'll strengthen in the summer, up front and in midfield, we're not a million miles from a decent Championship side, but goals have been a problem as has our away form. put De Silva and a goalscorer in the side and top six is within reach. if we go down, it'll be an even bigger disaster than last time cos we'll lose players that are capable whereas before we had fck all. vital that we stay up. everyone, fans, club, management and players need to stick together and feight like fck in every minute of the remaining games cos survival is all that counts now.
Davey has to step down......he's not a manager. We could give him the first team coach job and get someone else as manager....someone who knows what they are doing
I said 4th from bottom would do me. It's a low aim, and given the start we had and the amount of money spent on players, finishing in that region would be disappointing verging on embarrassing. The cup and a couple of unfortunate injuries have disguised the fact that there has been some very serious **** served up as 'football' this season. The fact is that two players should not have made that much difference especially given the 'competition for every position' material that was being spewed from the club at every opportunity. And as Jay has stated on several occassions, Davey really needs to do some homework on what a striker should look like and what they should do, 'cos he hasn't got a clue. That said, I'm fed up of changing managers, and some people who seem to know about football rate Davey. So, give him time, even if we go down.
if we stay up would you rather the club Pay £500,000 and get a few strikers or £500,000 on one striker and take the gamble he comes good and scores us some goals from quality service? if we go down i dont think we willlose too many, Anderson will still be here, Muller will. i think only Brian,Kozzy,Foster will go Anderson has a serious injury, teams wont want to risk that money on a player that may be a shadow of the former player the same for muller.
I tell you what my major concern is,and it's pure speculation because I'm unable to prove otherwise, but, if it's true that Davey is allowed to reject a player because of differing opinions or arguaments the club in my estimation are reinforcing his shortcommings by not addressing the situation.Davey is not the club and as such should not, allegedly,be be allowed to abuse his position . He is in effect, the custodian of our precious club and must be constantly mindful that he doesn't know it all. (blagger) (blagger) (blagger)
Two players do make a massive and with our money we could not replace them. Two quality front men would make a difference unfortunatly Davey has fell short in that area but the good things this season are far more than bad.
RE: If we stay up I can't see how any right minded person can argue that player for player we are not a much better team this year than last .... however, the front line in whatever combination you chose has been simply woeful this season. If you put a decent qualty striker or two into this squad then we would have every chance of a top 6 finish.
i don't want davey out i think it has been a good season that has gone wrong due to away for and the loss of anderson, if we stay up or go down i'd still like to see S.D given at least one more season constant chopping and changing of manajors over last decade has done my head in
Super Johnny Hendrie and Craig Hignett Two instances of a player making an ordinary team promotion candidates. And I'm sure there are many others, particularly in this division.
