Not that any of us will ever see that happen.

Welcome to the managerial lottery, yet again!

preferably sign a contact for 5 years and see it through t it's demise (contract that is, not manager!)

    Champions League?

    :pff

It does make you wonder - the most success and the best football in years and he's, most unceremoniously, shown the door...

    Not great!

Zoe's not well, Will starts his mock GCSEs tomorrow, I'm running in auto-pilot/zombie mode and today's events haven't helped. I'm seriously fed up of getting laughed at because of the way we go through managers as fast as you can pour baby-oil into a cleavage.

Hope all's well with you and yours!

Maybe I should insert the word 'decent'.

    RE: Certainly not.....

The other day I would've argued the toss mate but, to be honest, I hope you Ritchie knockers are proved right and there is a budget for a DECENT new manager to bring in his own players and start his reign in earnest.

If not, we could be in deep sh*t.

Really disappointed about Ritchie going but what's done is done and I hope there's a plan in place to build on HIS (not Shepherd's or Cryne's) success...

I'll be at the 'Well this Setdi - behind the lads and whoever the manager is - as usual...

    Here's hoping... (Y)

Good grief , Big Lil almost lost for words ! Almost !!
Mock GCSE's , yuk !! Poor Will . That young man seems mature beyond his years though , so I'm sure that next summer he'll be celebrating his outstanding achievements .
Crystal has shouted out , "Tell Ian 'SHIRTS'" !!!

I am certainly no Ritchie knocker.....

I am deeply saddend by his depature today and think he and Rick did wonders to get us back into the championship. He made some decent signings, a created a marvellous team spirit and played some attractive attacking football.

    BUT

I believe that todays decision was correct. Andy should have recognised that the squad needed strengthening and that certain players are not good enough for this standard. He was unable to take tough decisions and drop and replace certain squad members. His loyalty to the squad has in the end cost him his job, together with his inability to change the teams tactics particularly away from home.

    Fair enuff...

Like I said - I'd normally argue the toss but there isn't a great deal of point now!

Perhaps "Ritchie Knocker" was a bit harsh - wasn't meant that way but, my apologies anyway!

I don't believe the signing situation was as one-sided as GS made out - why didn't we get the players Ritchie had said he wanted if the brass was there? I suspect, mainly, 'cos the players Ritchie wanted would've cost too much.

Still, I hope the folk who do see it from a different perspective are right (genuinely - not being sarcastic or owt) 'cos that means a decent, new manager and a budget for players...
