I wouldn't be happy about Danny coming back if only because I don't believe in second comings.</p> But I have nothing against him personally and if he did get the job I'd welcome him the same as I will whoever gets it.</p> Unless it's Slackwell or Colin. </p>
Danny Wilson??? NO NO NO It wouldnt work the second time round, defo not. We are not Leeds, we dont live in the past......
5-0 on t' opening day of t' season? No ta.</p> Sooner have "Super John" Hendrie if we're going into t past. Had a a better PPG average than <strike>judas</strike> Wilson by 0.01! </p>
I do not think he will be even considered, I just wondered like it would be a bit of a fanbase splitter, as someone else said.
Whoever the next manager is I'll give them a good welcome Not sure if Wilson coming back would be a good idea though, he's hardly done much since he left
I'd be overjoyed Would love to see him back here, preferably with a backroom team of people who have been successful with us (e.g. Winstanley, Redfearn, Thompson, Shotton, etc). Not sure it's a realistic hope for us, due to the attitudes of some fans towards him, but he'd be top of my list.
why not go for jim iley too, FFS sheriff, get in the modern world man, none of those in your post are anywhere now near good enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With open arms I don't doubt for one minute that he'd have us playing attractive football again, lovely pass and move stuff. I doubt that he'd make a playoff side out of us, but I genuinely believe that we'd be out of the relegation contest. He could really do something with the likes of Colace and Anderson. It would make my day.
RE: With open arms I would love him back, wether the club would have him back is another story though.
Dont want him back... Nothing against him stabbing the club in the back but no , i wouldnt come back to oakwell if he came back
If it's nothing to do with him 'stabbing us in the back' as you put it then what reason would you not want him back ?</p> It would seem to me to be the major sticking point for some fans.</p>
