would be to see Gordon Shepherd, Duncan(?) Shepherd, Patrick Cryne, Barry Taylor etc in the directors box along with all the injured, suspended and just general out of favour players behind the dugout standing up and singing THEIR hearts out.
What better motivation would there be than to see that the directors and players care as much as we do?

Yes, what a great idea!!! Lets have all the club officials making pratts of themselves!!! What a great advert that will be for the club!! Sheperd and Cryne are professional people and despite them been fans of the club i don't think that they will resort to that level of lunacy!! Come on mate, get a grip!!!!!!!
RE: Like against Norwich? No, it's painfull. It was fine when it was spontaneous against Bradford the day we clinched promotion, but it's not our song and I hate being 'encouraged' to sing it.
RE: I know... Sorry. Must have had the sarcasm filter switched off. Couldn't remember the game, but it was cringeworthy.
you'll never walk alone has only worked twice at oakwell that I can think of When we won promotion and when we got relegated from the premiership. In all other circumstances it just doesnt work.
Come on Mr Shepherd, we've all heard the calls from the club for the fans to get behind the lads yet I don't ever remember seeing the directors box stood singing.
That isnt a dig at the directors, everybody knows that it isnt the done thing to start chanting and singing in the directors box but there is no law against it and for such a big game I think it would really raise the atmosphere.

I don't think it would be a good thing... be a bit embarrasing for them. Better perhaps to let them speak before the game and thank fans for the support throughout the season and to help us make the last push to cardiff...
I know they do well I assume they do, I know nothing about Gordon Shepherds son like so i'll just assume that he does.
What I meant was that on the day during the match the atmosphere dies sometimes and the fans need something to get them going again.
I can't think of anything that would get them going more than the directors singing their hearts out.
Oh and get toby to stay out too

What would get the fans singing and backing the team would be a rip-roaring 90 minute performance instead of the limp displays we've had to suffer far too many times this season. Over to you Ritchie and company.
RE: Like against Norwich? "spontanous against Bradford"? I seem to recall them playing it on the PA (she wasn't best pleased about it either!)
