    Mine are...

Hawkwind - Space Ritual (preferably the collectors edition with bonus tracks!)

    Nick Harper - Harperspace

    Virgin Prunes - Heresies

Sponge - any one of Moray Hose, Potterrow or the Cavern

    Inner City Unit - Passout

Jon Wayne - Two Graduated Jiggers

    Frank Zappa - Sheik Yerbouti

Nick Cave - The Boatman's Call

Some of those are "right now" choices but... right now that's what I felt like!!!

    David Bowie / Ziggy Stardust
    Elliott Smith / Figure 8
    T.Rex / Electric Warrior
Wilco / A Ghost Is Born
The Beatles / The White Album

Gah... That was 8 already..!

only 8, this is hard! So then.....

    Placebo - "Placebo"
Oasis "What's The Story, Morning Glory"
REM "The Best of REM" (this has the most tracks on so offers better value than any of their albums when limited! If I had to pick one album it would probably be Life's Rich Pageant)
Paul van Dyk "The Politics Of Dancing"
Sasha & Digweed - "Renaissance - The Mix" (this is also a triple disc set, hehehe!)
    Zemifira "Zemifira"
    The Pixies "Surfer Rosa"
Kaiser Chiefs "Yours Truly Angry Mob"

These aren't neccessarily my 8 favourite albums of all time, but I reckon these would be a good cross section for a desert island. Manic Street Preachers' "Holy Bible" is awesome for example, but not what I'd need when stranded and in need of hope and inspiration!

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.
At the moment, 'cos my favourites change day by day...

    Oliver's Army - Elvis Costello

...and I've thought of about another 60 that should be in there too.
