Is LJ fast becoming the new spackman....big on ideas yet .........no substance on the field of play....discuss.... in my eyes it appears so..... for what its worth when spackman was appointed , i thought at the time it was a good move but like a new brush sweeping clean the changes he tried to implement were too soon too forward thinking and alienated the players....made himself to look a fool...he also talked a good game....
I don't think he's that bad yet but the signs since he took over aren't good. He's young so he can be forgiven for some mistakes but unless he addresses the problems we have he's going to be putting himself under a hell of a lot of pressure.
I think its an insult to anybody in football to be compared to Spackman.The worse manager ever to manage our great football club.
Davey was ten times the manager that Spackman was and that is not intended as a compliment for Simon.
Lee Jay has the spread sheets, Videos dvds and the charm to deliver the goods. Words are cheap, deliver the goods and the pats on the back will be never ending.!!!!!
better managers have been and gone since davey,the trouble was they were saddled with a budget that was one of the weakest in an ever richer championship.
